Geomi

Geomi (Georgia Mead) is a vocalist, instrumentalist, and producer based in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. Deeply inspired by nature and the feminine spirit, her music aims to connect with the grounding forces of the earth and the intuitive, nourishing qualities of the feminine. Her sound blends the resonance of plucked strings, earthy percussion, the human voice, ambient textures, and the pulse of modern dance music. She has origins in folk-jazz, Americana, and old-time blues. But always inspired by electronic music, eventually immersed herself into production while living in LA and Berlin. As a new mother, her creative process is in a fresh chapter of exploration. She continually seeks to connect with the essence of her expression and channel it into her work, while embracing life’s unexpected side quests along the way.
